In its 22nd year, Colonial Place &amp; Riverview resident artists will showcase original works of art and creativity on their front porches throughout the day\u2019s walking tour. The Front Porch Art Walk has grown and changed from its inception in 1998 when artist and CPRV resident Sheila Robinson conceived the idea to highlight and support local fine artists.<\/span><\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">The Art Walk is a perfect chance to shop locally before the holidays for fun finds such as hand-made pottery, mosaics, oil &amp; acrylic paintings, prints, fiber art, handmade cards, photography, jewelry, pyrography, local honey and a variety of other amazing items our creatives in CPRV offer.<\/span><\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">Maps showing the location of all artists will be available\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100068980037466\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> for download and in-person at each participating artist location. We encourage you to save the map to your phone as a photo for quick, easy reference. From welcoming new attendees and electing Riverview\u2019s new representative, Terry Reading, to hearing from Brian N. Friedman on the future of Lambert\u2019s Point Park, the night was filled with great energy and momentum. Residents also heard updates on neighborhood safety, upcoming social events, and exciting initiatives like the Pets of CPRV 2026 Calendar and Elizabeth River Project Shoreline Planting.
